Christina is a proud graduate of Varina High School in Eastern Henrico and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Longwood University. After living in Memphis, Tennessee, from 2014 to 2021—where she met her husband, Ryan—she ultimately settled in Chesterfield’s Clover Hill District, in large part because of its strong public schools and opportunities for their youngest daughter. Today, Christina and Ryan are raising their four daughters and are active and engaged members of the community.
Christina is an experienced technology and operations leader who will bring practical, steady leadership to the School Board. She currently serves as Head of IT Operations at Marsh McLennan Agency, where she leads work focused on strategy, governance, and making complex organizations operate more effectively. Her career began in behavioral health, and with a background in Psychology, she brings a unique understanding of mental health needs. As a public school parent, Christina is committed to putting her experience to work for Chesterfield’s students, teachers, and families.
As a graduate of public school and proud public school parent, Christina has seen firsthand the impact that a strong, supportive public education system can have on a child’s success. Having raised three daughters through public schools and with her youngest approaching school age, she brings both the perspective of an experienced public school parent and a personal stake in the future of Chesterfield County Public Schools. Christina regularly attends School Board meetings and has taken the time to listen to the concerns of parents, teachers, students, and community members and learn about the issues facing our schools.
Professionally, Christina bring years of experience leading people and solving complex problems in large organizations. Her career in technology has taught her how to ask tough questions, use data to make informed decisions, balance competing priorities, and turn strategy into practical solutions. She also understands the rapidly changing technological landscape our students are entering and the responsibility our schools have to both protect them and prepare them for it.
Christina brings a practical, collaborative approach to leadership. She will listen, ask thoughtful questions, and work with people who bring different perspectives to find solutions that produce the best outcomes for Chesterfield’s students, teachers, and families.
